Referees/Officials Announced for Qatar vs Ecuador World Cup Match – The officials for the first match of the FIFA World Cup between Qatar and Ecuador have been announced. The Italian experienced referee Daniele Orsato has been assigned the responsibility of officiating the opening match. The first match between Qatar and Ecuador will begin at 7:00 PM local time on 20th November 2022.
Daniele Orsato is a very experienced referee. Aged 46, he has experience refereeing pressure matches. He was an official referee for the 2020 UEFA Champions League Final. He will be assisted by fellow Italian referees – Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini.
